Global Policy on Population Ageing
The status  of the great country is determined on the basis of socio-security , facilities, happiness and satisfaction provided to the elderly people .
The policies regarding old –adults address the burning issues of senior citizen in different areas of developments . Declining fertility and mortality rates, consequently increased life expectancy at birth, as well as at different ages, and continued increase in the proportion and number of older adults, industrialization , rapid urbanization, and modernization have brought changes in traditional values, and behaviour of the society towards the elderly people living in different countries of the world.
For many developing  countries, population ageing is seen as one more burden or problem competing for already scarce. Productive ageing is an approach that views older person as potentially unlimited human resources contributing to the goods, services, and products available for themselves and society .Recognizing that productive roles of older people go beyond economic participation , the United  nations in 1990 began a project in chile, sir Lanka , Thailand and Dominican Republic .

Participation in family’s social and economically and socially productive , were generally satisfied with their lives, and were involved in family and community activities.
