Demographic issues :-
The portion of the elderly population is small within individual families ,and not necessary within community and nation
Inevitable outcome of human progress in demographic transition within the family and household .The population, Nepal  is young (median age <20 years
Illiteracy ,urban-rural, insurgency etc
Social issues:-
Con fit in the society
Crime patterns
Social norms , values ,esteem ,honour and dignity
Social support
Social security system
Socialization, involvement in social activities , policy at local level use of elderly knowledge , traditional skill , expertise
 Recognition of elderly contribution
 Playing visits with gifts etc.
Housing  issues:-
Living arrangements in large and small family
Poverty/landless etc
Elderly homes, day-care centres, religious places, common places etc
 Family support:-
Primary responsibility of family members to care for the elderly
The link between family structure and family change are important .The family as a welfare
Institution . family , and 3-variations in the boundary of corporate groups.
Incentives to family members from the government, organizations, individuals , and others
Family life satisfaction  (western model of conjugal family vs  eastern model)
