Major Objectives of  population education :

The main objective of populations education is to educate the people about the population situation ideal for the family for the community and for the country .Population education motivates the people to have small families it gives the message of a small family and informs the people about  pre-natal care and child welfare .Population education provides knowledge of the advantage of small family.

a.      To educate the inter- relationship between growth in population and economical development .

b.     To create awareness about the danger of sexually Transmitted disease .

c.      To provide knowledge of population growth according to caring capacity of the country .

d.     To make the people conscious and careful in formulation of population planning related activities .
